Safety Requirements in the Construction Site

To: All contractors, consultants and developers working in building and construction sector within Abu Dhabi City.
As Abu Dhabi Municipality always enhance EHS measures at the construction sites. All contractors, consultants and developers are requested to comply with the following requirements

إلى جميع شركات المقاولات والمكاتب الاستشارية والمطورين العاملين في قطاع البناء والإنشاء داخل مدينة أبوظبي.
حرصاً من بلدية مدينة أبوظبي لضمان تعزيز إجراءات البيئة والصحة والسلامة في المواقع الإنشائية يرجى من جميع المقاولين والاستشاريين والمطورين الالتزام بالآتي:

|
• Client/developer, consultant and contractors shall provide safe working environment free from harm to employees, visitors and stakeholders.
|
• يجب على المالك/المطور والمقاول والاستشاري التأكد من توفير بيئة عمل آمنة وخالية من الأذى لجميع العاملين والموردين والزوار في المواقع الإنشائية.
|

• HSE Practitioners shall be appointed for each project from the consultant and contractor to ensure proper implementation of CoP 53.0 – 3.3 Roles and Responsibilities. ☐
|
• يجب تعيين ممارسي الصحة والسلامة المهنية لكل مشروع من طرف الاستشاري والمقاول لضمان التنفيذ الصحيح للمتطلبات والمسؤوليات المذكورة في قواعد الممارسة 53.0 - 3.3.
|
|
• The client/developer shall conduct regular HSE inspections for the projects to ensure safe working environment is provided, and to ensure construction activities are conducted without adversely impact to the environment.
|
• يجب على المالك/المطور للمشروع إجراء تفتيش الصحة والسلامة والبيئة بشكل دوري على المشاريع لضمان توفير بيئة عمل آمنة للعاملين بالمشروع وضمان القيام بأنشطة البناء دون التأثير سلباً على البيئة.
|
|
• Ensure All employees receive appropriate HSE training with the aim of preventing harm to people, property and to the environment.
|
• ضمان حصول جميع الموظفين على تدريب مناسب في مجال الصحة والسلامة والبيئة بهدف منع الضرر الذي يلحق بالناس والممتلكات والبيئة.
|
|
• Method statement and risk assessments shall be prepared for all activities and ensure it is followed closely.
|
• يجب إعداد بيان يوضح طريقة العمل وتقييم المخاطر لجميع الأعمال مع ضمان اتباعها بشكل دقيق.
|
|
• All moving Machines / Equipment shall have valid UAE registration and 3rd party inspection certificates to ensure it's in safe working conditions.
|
• يجب حصول جميع الآلات والمعدات المتحركة على شهادة تسجيل سارية المفعول وشهادة فحص من طرف ثالث لضمان عملها بشكل آمن.

• Clients/developer, consultants and contractors shall ensure compliance with UAE HSE legislation, OSHAD CoP and ADM-EHS requirements.

• يجب على الملاك/المطورين والاستشاريين والمقاولين الامتثال والالتزام بتشريعات الصحة والسلامة المهنية في مدينة أبوظبي ومتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة لقواعد الممارسة "أوشاد" ومتطلبات البيئة والصحة والسلامة لبلدية مدينة أبوظبي.

Safety Requirements in the Construction Site

To: All contractors, consultants and developers working in building and construction sector within Abu Dhabi City.
As Abu Dhabi Municipality always enhance EHS measures at the construction sites. All contractors, consultants and developers are requested to comply with the following requirements

To all contracting companies, consulting offices, and developers working in the building and construction sector within Abu Dhabi city.
In its keenness to ensure the enhancement of Environment, Health, and Safety measures at construction sites, Abu Dhabi City Municipality requests that all contractors, consultants, and developers adhere to the following:

• Client/developer, consultant and contractors shall provide safe working environment free from harm to employees, visitors and stakeholders.
|
• The owner/developer, contractor, and consultant must ensure the provision of a safe work environment free from harm to all workers, suppliers, and visitors at construction sites.
|
|
• HSE Practitioners shall be appointed for each project from the consultant and contractor to ensure proper implementation of CoP 53.0 – 3.3 Roles and Responsibilities. ☐
|
• HSE practitioners must be appointed for each project by the consultant and contractor to ensure the correct implementation of the requirements and responsibilities mentioned in Code of Practice 53.0 - 3.3.
|
|
• The client/developer shall conduct regular HSE inspections for the projects to ensure safe working environment is provided, and to ensure construction activities are conducted without adversely impact to the environment.
|
• The project owner/developer must conduct periodic health, safety, and environment inspections on the projects to ensure a safe working environment is provided for project workers and to ensure construction activities are conducted without negatively impacting the environment.
|
|
• Ensure All employees receive appropriate HSE training with the aim of preventing harm to people, property and to the environment.

• Owners/developers, consultants, and contractors must comply with and adhere to the occupational health and safety legislation in Abu Dhabi city, the "OSHAD" Code of Practice EHS requirements, and the Abu Dhabi City Municipality EHS requirements.
