Regarding the Amendment of Some Provisions of Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2006

Regarding the Licensing of Temporary Car Canopies Outside the Boundaries of Residential Plots

The Chairman of the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities

Having reviewed Law No. (1) of 1974 on the Reorganization of the Government Apparatus in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments,

- And Law No. (4) of 1983 Regarding the Regulation of Construction Works and its Executive Regulations,

- And Law No. (5) of 2018 Regarding the Establishment of the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities,

- And Law No. (2) of 2012 Regarding the Preservation of Public Appearance, Health, and Public Tranquility and its Executive Regulations,

- And Emiri Decree No. (13) of 2017 on the Reshaping of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,

- And Executive Council Decision No. (67) Part 1 / 2004 Regarding Service Fees,

- And Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2006 Regarding the Licensing of Temporary Car Canopies Outside the Boundaries of Residential Plots,

And based on the requirements of the public interest,

It has been decided as follows:

Article (1)

Article No. (2) of Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2006 is amended as follows:

A fee of (1000) Dirhams shall be collected upon issuance of the license for each canopy whose dimensions do not exceed (3 m x 6 m).

Article (2)

Article No. (2) of Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2006 is amended as follows:

The license shall be renewed annually for a fee of (200) Dirhams.

Article (3)

The remaining articles of Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2006 shall remain unchanged.

Article (4)

This decision shall be effective from the date of its issuance and shall be circulated to all concerned parties to act upon it, each within their respective jurisdiction.
