Administrative Decision No. (152) of 2018
Regarding Landscaping and Beautification Works Outside the Boundaries of Residential Plots
in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi
The Chairman of the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities:
- Having reviewed Law No. (1) of 1974 regarding the reorganization of the governmental apparatus in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its amendments,
- And Law No. (4) of 1983 regarding the regulation of construction works in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, its amendments, and its executive regulations,
- And Law No. (10) of 2006 regarding the establishment of the Western Region Municipality and Municipal Council, and its amendments,
- And Law No. (10) of 2007 regarding the establishment of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality and Municipal Council in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its amendments,
- And Law No. (11) of 2007 regarding the establishment of the Al Ain City Municipality and Municipal Council in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its amendments,
- And Law No. (2) of 2012 regarding the preservation of public appearance, health, and tranquility,
- And Law No. (5) of 2018 regarding the establishment of the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities,
- And Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2006 regarding the licensing of temporary car shades outside the boundaries of residential plots,
- And Administrative Decision No. (115) of 2018 regarding the amendment of some provisions of Administrative Decision No. (5) of 2006 concerning the licensing of temporary car shades outside plot boundaries,
- And Administrative Decision No. (138) of 2018 regarding the regulation of works outside the boundaries of residential plots,
- And based on the requirements of the public interest,
It is decided as follows:
Article (1)
Owners of residential plots shall be exempted from paying the fees for licensing and renewing external shades if they carry out landscaping and beautification works outside the boundaries of these plots in accordance with the requirements and standards stipulated in the guide of Administrative Decision No. (138) of 2018.
Article (2)
This decision shall be effective from the date of its issuance and shall be circulated to all concerned authorities to act upon, each within its jurisdiction.
